Re-Entry

Individuals re-entering the community after incarceration are my target population. My Master’s degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a special focus in forensics and I have experience working inside of correctional facilities. Now, it’s my time to help this community from the outside and to be a part of a team that prevents re-incarceration. Through counseling, it is my goal to help you utilize your strengths in the most positive way. It is also my goal to help pinpoint and reframe patterns related to criminal thinking that sometimes go unnoticed. I will help guide you along on this journey. In NJ, the recidivisim (re-incarceration) rate hovers around 30% while the national average, according to the National Institute of Justice, ranges from 50-68%. Allow me to walk alongside you to address and eliminate barriers that might seem to be working against you. Together we can break the cycle of recidivism, one person at a time.
